Most days you can find me outside hiking in a local park, walking my pup Haarlem, attempting to garden (but let’s face it - my thumb is more purple than green), drinking coffee on my back porch while reading or listening to a podcast, or at the beach with a cocktail.

If you couldn’t tell, I’m an “outdoorsy” type of gal. During the months I’m forced inside, I love to work on home projects (I built our table and bench with my bare hands!), binge on some Gilmore Girls or Parks and Rec, or listen to my husband jam on the piano.

I am OBSESSED with traveling and, more specifically, Ireland. Marshall (my hubs) and I visited for the first time during our honeymoon in April 2016. We fell so deeply in love that we took a second trip in August 2018. Our dream is to retire there in a lovely castle by the sea...or a shack. I’m not picky as long as it’s in Ireland.

So after three paragraphs of learning about me and not reading one thing about photography, you might be starting to wonder, “Does this girl even shoot photos?” The answer is YES, of course! I started shooting in 2001 and in 2010, I discovered my love for wedding photography after fumbling my way through my first wedding as a second shooter.

When we begin to work together, you can expect to gain a friend who will be there for you throughout the exciting process of planning your wedding. I love getting together with my clients over coffee to discuss their hopes and dreams not only for their wedding, but also for their lives.
